年末の雑感

博士課程の学生の公聴会も無事に終わり、職場の忘年を経て冬休みに入った。
この期間は家、またはcafeでじっくりと論文に取り組むことが出来るので、とても重要で、しかし至福の期間です。
年頭にドイツ訪問が決まり、初日の夜に友達を訪ねることにする。

Good old German tradition says that the German Christkind brings presents for the kids, puts them under the christmas tree and rings a little bell when everything is prepared. This is the sound all German kids are waiting for. But Petra’s brother forget their bell in Cologne. Fortunately, we still had a little green bell from you from your last visit. This is where we thought and talked about you…..
